If he opens the back door he is greeted by the aroma of fresh air with a hint of hay and horse manure. NICE!

The property was left with two horses. Actually, the owner left for Hawaii immediately after our occupancy and we said they could stay until she could make arrangements. The way our moving package works is they will pay for a year+ housing. We do not receive a CASH imbursement. Mr. Incredible's work pays the mortgage directly. This is why it was crucial for us to find a home where we could purchase at the end of our agreement. If we had bought immediately we would have lost that year of "free" mortgage.
Please meet Dash's newest best friends.
CARSON, who is 6 years old
Carson, is a big baby. If Sunny is out of sight. Carson goes to making a rucus. He is also a bit more spirited and can get spooked easily. Carson, requires an experienced rider, until he gets a bit older and learns some manners.
and his most beloved Sunny, who is a Tennessee Walker!

Check Dash out riding BAREBACK!, Sunny has never bucked Dash off but Dash has fallen many many times off of Sunny. He has landed in some great fertile ground. It doesn't stop him. He gets right back up and gets on again. I hope he learns life lessons from this. He has a riding helmet. Which is now a requirement, since he wants to go FASTER and if he goes faster a SADDLE will have to be used as well.

CHECK out his friend holding on for DEAR LIFE!

I have not found anything that doesn't come easily to Dash. He's quite amazing. However, I think doing chores is one area he may struggle in. I mean... I'm just sayin..
Sunny always looks forward to Dash going out to feed him each morning and each night. He is 19 years old. He is so gentle and will even try to assist Dash by using his head to help Dash mount him.

I just LOVE this picture!! Sunny is "kissing" or licking Dash's head! PRICELESS!
Cue music: Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys, let them be doctors and lawyers and such. Actually, I think I like my little rugged man!

That "yard" is flippin' AMAZING!!! And those are gorgeous animals, I LOVE the pic of Dash's head touching Sunny's!! Sunny sounds like a sweetie!! I have never gotten to be near a horse really, did Dash already know how or just climb up Sunny and say GO?
Looks like a great place and fun times!!!
Your house is stunning. Change of plans. a visit to your house istead! :) I showed Elaiasi the horses, and he ask me if you were going to eat them? oh boy!.....
this is so cool. Horses are special animals. Dash reminds me a LOT of my Aaron. They just get up and go do stuff, never struggling much in the "skill" department, except for chores-Aaron's the same. HA HA
Such love, horses are so amazing. How fun for Dash to have the chance to be around horses.
Are you getting settled alright?
You have most definately gotten yourself a GREAT deal there! Wow Mortgage paid for a year - you guys have it good!
The horses are beautiful and how fun that Dash gets to ride and enjoy them for awhile.

(BTW The Napkin is a story I have seen several times over the years. I don't know where it came from but I checked out the scripture and the Jewish custom and it seems to be right on - so I guess we make our own assumptions?).
We were the Cowboys in High School so we grew up with the Mama's don't song. It's so great he found such a cute fun friend already. How fun that they let you ride the horses.
Rockin! Caden would be in HEAVEN! He has wanted a horse for forever. I love how Dash is so fearless. Reminds me of my boys! LOVE the picture of the horse giving him some sugar.
