HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY 2009!

I love to celebrate the holidays with my family and just make memorable moments! This year I sort of dropped the ball! So, I scampered around last minute to still make special moments! Here is what and who came to visit us last year. Click here!

I had fallen asleep on the couch last night and apparently did not wake up when Mr. Incredible "begged" me to go to bed. The Leprechauns did not visit and they did not fill the children's shoes that were placed by the door the night before! DADGUM LEPS!!

However, when I did leave the house those pesky little green midgets did a number on our home! WE had colored toilet water and the house was in shambles.

Here is our offer of gold this year!

But before they left they were sure to leave the children some little treats. I have to say Dash loves his magic cards! He has been playing tricks on us all evening and I have a sneaking suspicion that if I don't keep some gold around this house. Dash could turn into a pesky little leprechaun! There is just something Irish and devilish about his smile! LOL

However the older two look like they have been a bit mischievous today, themselves.

The much coveted LOOT!

Our St. Patricks dinner will consist of Corn beef and cabbage with spam and rice. We have Pistachio cake with Pistachio pudding for Dessert. Our drink will be green punch and to top it off we will have homemade shamrock milkshakes! YUM YUM!

You are too much fun! I haven't ever gotten into St. Patrick's day. Maybe because we're Scottish rather than Irish ; )

You are so good! I meant to do the fun stuff, but the day just got away from me and then the crowd was home from school! Well, you did enough green for everyone! My kids didn't even miss the leprechauns this year. Lucky for me....since our last name is as Irish as a potato!

That's very cool! We don't do anything cool like that. Maybe we need to start! I didn't so much as even have any cool green drinks for the children. Bummer. But your dinner looked yummo and the dessert, DELICIOUS!! Will you have a piece for me please?!

Wow...wish I had been invited!

Didn't do anything here. Went to my oldest's daughter's house and had lasagna! Had green beans and salad. Does that count?!

Your so awesome! We have been sick with the flu so hubby made corn noodles for dinner, which is a family tradition passed down on his side. I did not do anything, but I don't think the children really noticed this year since they have been sick. Easter Bunny will have to make up for it.
